In a solemn and moving display of faith and tradition, students of St. Bro. André Senior High School in Kasoa commemorated Good Friday with a live reenactment of the Passion of Jesus Christ.
As part of the Easter observance, the Catholic institution organized a Stations of the Cross procession on campus, followed by a dramatic portrayal of the crucifixion of Jesus. The event drew the attention of staff and students who gathered to witness the sacred commemoration.

Dressed in biblical costumes, students took on the roles of key figures in the Passion story — including Jesus, Mary, Pontius Pilate, Roman soldiers, and the disciples. With deep reverence, they reenacted scenes from Jesus’ final hours, from His condemnation to His crucifixion and burial.

The initiative aimed not only to honour the sacrifice of Christ but also to educate students on the significance of Good Friday within the Christian faith.

“It was emotional and powerful,” said a teacher who witnessed the performance. “The students did a remarkable job capturing the pain, love, and hope that the story of Jesus brings to Christians around the world.”
The event served as a reminder of the meaning of Easter and reinforced the spiritual values central to Catholic education.
